Healthy Loddon Campaspe (HLC), a State Government-funded initiative aimed at improving health outcomes in the Loddon Campaspe region, needed a compelling way to promote the consumption of locally grown fruits and vegetables. The goal was to enhance awareness about the benefits of local produce – it’s fresher, more nutritious, supports local growers, and is good for health.
Vid.co was commissioned to create a series of three 15-second television commercials as part of the “Support Our Own. Choose Locally Grown.” campaign. The commercials were designed to be aired on television and also displayed on the HLC website.
Our team used a direct-to-camera approach, filming local farmers and grocers holding the fresh produce. This strategy not only showcased the products but also created a personal connection with the audience. A motion graphic end frame was added to each commercial, providing a visually appealing and memorable conclusion.
In addition to the television commercials, we also crafted vertical versions of the commercials for use on social media, showing our adaptability and keen understanding of the diverse needs of today’s media landscape.
The commercials were well-received, with the client expressing their satisfaction with the final result. They appreciated the quality of the commercials and the extra mile we went in creating social media-friendly versions.
