Djaara Lights is a magical convergence of ancient storytelling and modern digital artistry – an interactive show with light displays and augmented reality artwork that celebrates the vibrant culture of Dja Dja Wurrung people.

We had the humbling opportunity to create some social media video adverts for this beautiful tourist activation for Bendigo Tourism

One of the challenges we faced during this project was how do you film Augmented Reality experience effectively on camera? Our answer – We got creative and 3D tracked the digital artwork into live action footage, so viewers would get an better idea of how this experience felt.

We owe a lot of gratitude to the Dja Dja Wurrung people for grounding this experience with traditional culture and knowledge. It was an honour promoting their innovative artwork.
